Fall Packets were handed our during Summer Training this year. If someone from your board was unable to attend and a new officers form was received by the state office, the packet with membership cards was sent to your President. If a new officers form was not received by October 30, all packets were sent to the school Attn: PTA President. ****************************************************************************************************************

We are excited to present a tremendous list of speakers and activities for this year's Convention. Carol Ritter, Maile Isac-Boeder and Betsy Landers will be speaking on volunteer involvement, leadership development and work / life balance. We are also happy to have many partners who will meet with you to discuss possible programs for your school and we have extended the time to give more time for unit sharing. If you came to last year's Convention you will be happy to know that we do not have any bylaw changes on the slate for this year. We hope to see you on October 10th.

Make sure to register to get your Back to School Kit!!!
If a PTA has not received a postcard or e-mail about registering for the kit with their personalized URL (PURL), below is the FAQ about how they can very easily register for their kit. PTAs do not need to have received a postcard with the PURL to be able to order their kit – they just need the link below or to call the PTA Headquarters Office.
Q: I don’t have a PURL; can I still get a kit? A: To order the kit without a personalized URL (PURL), go to the online order form (http://www.pta.org/ptakit_register), or call the PTA Information Center at (800) 307-4782 during regular business hours. You will need your unit ID number and will need to confirm that you are authorized to order the kit for your unit. The entire set of FAQs can be found at www.pta.org/officialkit.
